Terms of use

The Alignment Network is a private prototype for adults seeking intentional connection. It is offered as-is, with no warranties. Treat people the way you would in a quiet room with a stranger you respect.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the platform. We may verify age and identity. Accounts found to belong to minors are removed immediately and permanently.

You agree to represent yourself honestly. No catfishing, no deepfakes, no stolen photos, no AI-generated faces, no impersonation. Live calls run a liveness and authenticity check. Suspected fake identities are reviewed by a human and removed.

The following are not allowed:

• Harassment, abuse, threats, or intimidation
• Sexually explicit content involving non-consent or minors
• Coercion, manipulation, or pressure of any kind
• Sharing other users' images, messages, or identity off-platform
• Recording calls without explicit consent from both parties
• Commercial solicitation, sex work coordination, or scams

Violations result in account removal. Some violations are reported to the appropriate authorities.

Messaging only opens when both people, on a live call, say yes. Either person can leave at any moment, decline messaging, block, or quietly pass. Consent given at one point can always be withdrawn.

You can pause, take space, deactivate, or permanently delete your account from your account settings. Deletion removes your profile, messages you sent, atmospheres, and uploads. We do not send win-back emails.

The Alignment Network is in active development. Features may change, break, or disappear. Data loss is possible. Do not use the platform as your only channel for important conversations.

The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

We are not a therapy service, mental health provider, or crisis line. If you are in crisis, please contact your local emergency services or a qualified mental health professional.

If these terms change in a meaningful way, we'll tell you calmly — in-app, before the change takes effect — and give you the chance to leave.
